Hall Effect Isolated Current Measurement Module

Overview

The ISOCM Isolated Current Measurement Modules are fully Isolated and Multi Channel Sensing Modules. They are designed to be used in wide range of applications such as Feedback Block of Power Electronics Converters & Inverters, 3 Phase Systems Monitoring, Motor Drives and PV Monitoring applications. Motor Drives and PV Monitoring applications.

The Module have both unipolar and bipolar output IDCs, with configurable 3V/5V unipolar output voltage, which makes it compatible with all type of DSP Controllers and dSPACE Controllers. BNC Output can be used for direct interface with Oscilloscope as well. The Current Sensors are non-intrusive, so they can be used with bus bars.

The ISOCM Module can be used with powerful features such as Data Monitoring, Acquisition, Advanced Analysis (Power Factor, THD, etc.) and Recording with Interactive Playback in Software Environment. This eliminates the need for Oscilloscopes, Power Analyzers and Probes for up to 100 kHz Bandwidth applications.

Optical Isolated Bipolar Voltage Sensor (GISOV103V)

The Voltage sensor uses the optically isolated voltage amplifier ACPL-C79B from Avago Technologies. A voltage divider at the input stage is used to attenuate the voltage level to the input levels of the chip. At the output, a filtering and scaling circuit is implemented.

  • It has fully differential optical isolation barrier with excellent linearity and dynamic performance up to 200 kHz.
  • It is used to sense AC (50-60 Hz) or DC voltage from switching converters

ISOLATED CURRENT SENSOR

HIGH ACCURACY CURRENT SENSOR WITH 400KHZ BANDWIDTH USING ACS37002

This is a high accuracy current sensor project build using ACS37002 IC from Allegro, which is a fully integrated Hall-effect current sensor with 0.85mOhms integrated conductor. A fast overcurrent alert output, programmable gain settings and analog linear voltage outputs are key features of this project. The sensor has optimized accuracy for current ranges +/-33A to +/-66 A and the analog voltage output is linear for the current of this range. The operating voltage of the project is 5V DC. The output voltage of this sensor is centered at VCC/2 =2.5V.
